Event Space
Event Space at MoHA includes a variety of rentable/reservable physical spaces that are available to individuals, groups, and organizations for the purpose of teaching, producing, or presenting creative or community work.
MoHA is a cultural hub for artists to connect and share their work with audiences. Alongside MoHA's 7500sq ft warehouse of studios, gallery space, and performance space, MoHA has transformed trailers into retail outlets, recycling cages into outdoor sculpture galleries, and buses into mobile venues, forging a space that adapts to the community. While some are scheduled in advance, MoHA often facilitates pop-up opportunities, activations, and events with community partners, member artists, and our surrounding community.
View our main event spaces below.
Gallery
Our gallery space has wooden floors, white walls, and plentiful outlets awaiting for artists to transform the space. The gallery can be used for exhibitions, workshops, and other events and is situated between our performance space and main common area. In its bare state, there is no wall separating the gallery and performance space; however, a large projector screen can be placed.
Performance Space
The performance space contains concrete floorspace with a raised, wooden stage and concessions area. A projector screen can be placed on the stage to separate the gallery space and display media. There are also several outlets, speakers, lighting options, and seating/standing arrangements for artists to dress up the space.
Drive-In Space
The drive-in space features a large projector screen, brightly-colored and movable platforms, and astroturf right outside the warehouse. Host outdoor screenings, performances, talks, and more.
Studio Space
MoHA provides radically affordable studio and office space for artists and organizers to create, gather, and share their work.
MoHA studios are part of a diverse, supportive community of artists and organizers, and exist amongst MoHA’s events, residency programs, and other happenings. Studio spaces can be used for places to paint, sew, rehearse, gather, shoot videos, house large equipment, and work on almost any creative project you have in mind. Our 22 studios range in size from 60 to 450 square feet. Studio rental agreements can range in time from short to long-term. Studio members have 24-hour access to their spaces and can request access and/or reserve MoHA’s shared office space when needed. When an artist no longer needs a studio space, the space is cleaned and prepped for the next artist. We utilize an application process and waiting list to fill vacant studio spaces.

The Fabrication & Maker Space is located between the gallery space and the back office area. This space is also the main common area frequented by studio members, staff, and organizers as a behind-the-scenes or meeting area.
