Our Programs

From The Museum of Human Achievement

The Museum of Human Achievement (MoHA)'s programs support artists with getting access to the support, space, and resources they need to make and present artwork in Austin, TX. Through these programs, MoHA cultivates approachable, collaborative, and relationship-driven opportunities for artists to build community and facilitate the open exchange of ideas and creative expression.

MoHA emphasizes opportunities and support for under-resourced people, especially low-income artists and community members. MoHA prioritizes free, very low-barrier opportunities to learn, and pays visual artists to make and show works that express new ideas and explore essential questions about human identity, experience, and community. To date, MoHA has welcomed over 300k visitors, hosted 55 visiting artists-in-residence and 93 online residents, produced over 100 public workshops, commissioned 25 original indie games, and presented 1000+ new games and artworks at 100+ monthly meetups.
