Bio
Eriane Austria is the Operations Manager at MoHA and a multidisciplinary artist. She draws on her experience in academic research, game development, and community organizing to help strengthen and grow MoHA’s organizational infrastructure and community.
In her earlier years as a painter, her work has been awarded and shown at the Hayloft Gallery for the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo; Art League Houston; Spring Street Studios; and elsewhere in Houston. She is currently reshaping her art practice; her more recent mixed media and new media work has been shown at Gia Đình Goods and MoHA in Austin. Outside of work, Eriane is a volunteer team member of Slipper Assembly – a community centered on connection, creative solidarity, and heritage for Asian creatives in Austin – where she advises and collaborates on operations, marketing, and programming. She also enjoys climbing, crafts, and cozy games. Eriane earned a BSA in Neuroscience and a BS in Arts & Entertainment Technologies from the University of Texas at Austin and wrote her Polymathic Scholars honors thesis on Digital Globalization and Intersectionality.
