This event was created as part of the CATS+ Spring 2025 Residency.
This spring 5 artists-in-residence gathered for weekly sessions to explore ideas, technologies, and ways of working together. Something between an open studio, pop-up exhibition, and meetup, the CATS+ Resident Showcase is an invitation for audiences to meet the artists, explore the projects they’ve been working on, talk about process, and get inspired.
Come get curious about connecting to nature, machines, and waste sites; creating as advocacy against injustice; speaking out and speaking in code. Projection, video art, stop motion animation, photography, sculptural installation, masks, creative coding, and performance.

Two for One! Games Y’all, the awesome monthly showcase and social gathering of indie video games and digital art projects from the local community, will be happening at the same time. Nice!
About CATS+
The Collaborative Art + Technology Situation (CATS+) is a program for artists interested in expanding their work in digital and new media. The CATS+ Residency is a paid opportunity that brings cohorts of artists and tech wizards together to learn and collaborate on new work. CATS+ promotes troubleshooting, curiosity, and critical thinking around emerging and ubiquitous technologies. We host artist-led workshops, gatherings, mentorships, public showcases, a tech studio, an online wiki to remove the mystery from tech by foregrounding human connection, process, and experimentation.
