Purpose
A walkthrough of Mailchimp + tags
Overview
Tag: Mailchimp’s tags are what staff can use to determine what emails the audience gets when they subscribe.
Group: Audience members use groups in Mailchimp, which allows them to self-select what kinds of emails they want to receive.
Segment: Segments are ways that the staff can combine groups + tags to make a mailing list.
Global Tags
Name | Description |
---|---|

Public | People who have inquired, applied, purchased a ticket, indicated volunteer interest or attended an event |
Donor | People who have donated money or sponsored |
Admin | People in leadership, people who have volunteered, contractors |

Create Tag
If a tag is created in mail chimp be sure to go the Mailchimp Tags base in Airtable to add it so MoHA can keep track of new tags created.
