Violet Forest's residency took place when Welcome to my Homepage was formerly known as Welcome to my Guest Room.
Artist Bio
Violet Forest is a solo and collaborative artist based in Chicago. She co-founded Cybertwee, a collective that explores the intersections of technology and cuteness, with Gabriella Hileman & May Waver. Her well known project, Vickie, an ongoing photo-essay of her sister initiated in 2011. Additionally, Forest works as a freelance front-end developer. Currently she works with Studio 424 and is developing a virtual-reality art exhibition with Cybertwee.
