Project Description
this is my room. these are my things - i am a guest. my name is rin. everyday i'll pick a new VR video we can watch together. it is down there. usually on Fridays I'll share a new VR Video that I made using the internet - today is a different day tho
Artist Bio
Rin Johnson is a Brooklyn based sculptor and poet. Johnson's own work and curatorial interests focus on topics of surveillance, privacy, and the politics of images/space/bodies/race. Moving between Virtual Reality, sculpture and the printed word, Johnson is the author of two books, "Nobody Sleeps Better Than White People" from Inpatient Press and the forthcoming VR Book, "Meet in the Corner" from Publishing House. Johnson founded Imperial Matters (a space for liquid poetry) with Sophie Le Fraga.
