Welcome to my Homepage presents Near Water by Melanie Clemmons.

Project Description

Melanie Clemmons’s secret hobby is true crime. She’s specifically interested in missing persons cases and the online communities that investigate them. For this residency, she is creating a series of digital tools for psychic detectives. Near Water gives users a chance to explore and digitally divine for clues at the Hudson Pecan Orchard, the speculated location of missing beauty queen and school teacher, Tara Grinstead's remains. Clemmons created the eerie and gorgeously inspiring landscape from real terrain data.
