Welcome to my Homepage presents Jesse Cline, a self-titled project by Jesse Cline.
This project was completed when Welcome to my Homepage was formerly known as ‘’’Welcome to my Guest Room’’’.
Project Description
Jesse Cline translates difficult materials from digital to physical to digital space using a host of computer-aided techniques including 3D laser scanning, 3D printing, CNC routing, and laser etching. The process is an exploration of what initially imperceptible information is gained and gets lost as human and machine vision converse. Cline also questions and distorts how we define the identity of a copy.
Artist Bio
Jesse Cline is an interdisciplinary digital maker who works in the industry as a visual designer. He is interested in the social construction of semiotics, technology, and the disruption and subversion of those systems. Cline received his MFA in Design from the University of Texas at Austin.
