This Austin Studio Tour (Nov 8-9,15-16), we want it all on wheels (or legs, springs, or wings). Make some art and make it go! Modded furbies, hacked lime scooters, post modern model trains, power wheels performance art, zoetropes. We want the place looking like that toy store in the mall with the big pin of robot puppies mashed up with a going-out-of-business Radio Shack, meets high-concept low-budget art show.

MoHA’s Collaborative Art + Technology Situation (CATS+) wants you to get things moving with repurposed electronics, wind up toys, moderate gusts of wind, the power of cinema, or elbow grease. It can be a sculpture, a media art project, a performative object, a game, or whatever other artform you can make go. Everything must go! You can (and should?) make it for sale, too. Fill out the interest form here.

Attend our Kick Off & Info Session to find out more, meet potential collaborators, workshop your ideas, see what tools and resources we have available - and call dibs on some enticing, semi-functional electronics and stuff we’ve scrounged up around MoHA to make art with.

This Kick Off Event is supported in part by the City of Austin Economic Development Department, as well as the Texas Commission on the Arts.

UPDATE: The Everything Must Go! exhibition has been cancelled. We hope to reschedule it in the future.
