Welcome to my Homepage presents Connor Frew, a self-titled project by Connor Frew.
This project was completed when Welcome to my Homepage was formerly known as ‘’’Welcome to my Guest Room’’’.
About the Project
Connor Frew took up residence in the guest room May 17 - June 12, bringing with them a bossy shopkeeper, a ponderous dusty corner and a miniature library of ecotheory! Books linked to PDFs of Evil Media by Matthew Fuller and Andrew Goffey, Ecology Without Nature: Rethinking Environmental Aesthetics by Timothy Morton, and Hyperobjects: Philosophy and Ecology after the End of the World by Timothy Morton.
Artist Bio
Connor Frew received their BFA in Studio Art + BA in Art History from the University of Texas at Austin. They are the founder of Flatpack Publications—a developing publishing practice centered on thoughtful, elegant, conscious collation of artist books, zines, programming, and other ejecta of the public space—and are currently the Publisher-in-Residence at stop-gap projects. Frew is a 2nd MFA candidate.
