Welcome to my Homepage presents AM/Projected Relation by Christina Smiros.

Project Description

AM/Projected Relation is a dialogue between AM and the viewer/user. The viewer/user interacts with AM using emojis on a web-based application. She’ll speak back in English, with an option for Spanish subtitles. AM/Projected Relation is inspired by the ubiquitous nature of social media, and the many personas our data produces. AM discusses themes of virtuality and physicality, identity and the image, and place and ideology. AM takes two forms: a physical installation and a website.

Artist Bio

Christina Smiros (1993, New York) is a New Media artist based in New York. Smiros work explores intersubjectivity and interpersonal relationships in the technophilic societies through storytelling. She holds a Masters of Fine Art in Visual Studies from Pacific Northwest College of Art, and a Masters of Science in Narrative Medicine from Columbia University.
