Just Browsing is a hybrid of a hand drawn and digital shopping platform of summer fashion intended for women. As the weather gets hotter, and swimming season approaches we get ready to debut our summer bod. The installation engages with conversations around retail, the reinforcement of the gender expectations, competitive spending, and the ways we browse online for our clothing to avoid the anxiety of in-person interactions.

Born in 1996 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, Dana Suleymanova is an artist that lives and works in Texas. She has a Studio Art degree from The University of Texas at Austin and has shown in spaces such as Visual Arts Center, BlueOrange Gallery, Dimension Gallery, Aurora Picture Show, The Museum of Human Achievement, as well as others. Her own work is interested in a playful dissection of power structures through objects and performativity. Working primarily in the mediums of sculpture, new media, and performance, her pieces explore the often humorous and clunky navigation of personal identity.
