Event Description
This performance took place in the parking lot of The Museum of Human Achievement and signified the launch of the exhibit BALLENARCA - The Whale Ark.
Artist Bio
Poncili is a mysterious art collective from Puerto Rico that has developed a unique way of performing, disregarding any limits for their sense of expression: theater of land art, dance, poetry, giant masks, street performance and puppet theater. Chaotic Tranquility, has been used to describe their performances. Live music is an intrinsic component, often coming from unorthodox instruments and their own bodies. Playing with color and dimension, props and puppets for their shows are sculpted from clay or built from recycled material.
