Workshop Info

The Museum of Human Achievement is hosting two Grant Application Hangouts for individuals or organizations seeking assistance with applying to Austin’s UNESCO Media Arts Open Call. We will offer an overview of the application, 1:1 support, and a friendly environment to co-work with other community members on your applications.

Session 1 -Wed August 13th, 2025 - 1pm - 2pm CT (ONLINE)

Session 2 - Saturday August 16th, 2025 - noon - 2pm (at MoHA - 3600 Lyons Rd)

If you would like to co-work, please bring a laptop or tablet to work on. If you do not have access to a laptop or tablet you can email jay@themusemofhumanachievement.com to reserve a computer (limited supply). Please RSVP so we can get an accurate headcount.

This event is organized by the Museum of Human Achievement and is not affiliated with the City of Austin's ACME or Economic Development Departments.

About the Grant

This grant is designed to uplift Austin’s vibrant media arts community by funding group exhibitions, performances, or screen-based artworks featuring three or more artists.

Award Amount: $2,000

Good for: Organization (informal, non-profit or creative business) or promoter/organizer/artists working in media arts

2025 Application Dates: Currently Open until August 18th at midnight
