Come celebrate the official city and state designation of the Govalle Cultural District at The Museum of Human Achievement on Sunday November 16th at noon! Brief remarks by community stakeholders such as Govalle Neighborhood Association, Austin's Economic Development Department, the Director of Policy of City of Austin's Council Member Jose Velasquez (District 3), Govalle Elementary School, Texas Commission on the Arts, Austin School of Film, Ground Floor Theater as well as snacks and drinks. Stay for a tour of MoHA and the Canopy complex as part of the final day of the Austin Studio tour.
Event will be outdoors in our gravel parking lot. We recommend closed toe flat shoes, and an outfit that won't snag or get tripped on. We want you to have the best time while remaining safe and gorgeous.
