At the Recspec Gallery Annex, we’re inviting our artists to explore space and transform a simple shipping container into an entirely different dimension. Our first Annex show - Ex Voto - features the work by Albuquerque, NM based artist, Beedallo
An Ex Voto is made as an offering to a saint or to God. This is often a work in the image of what needs to be fixed. Although the artist is not religious, there remains an impulse to pray.
Opening Saturday, March 30th from 5-9pm. We’ll have beverages and food from @milkweedmeals. Follow the map on our website for precise directions, or look for the second blue shipping container to the right of The Museum of Human Achievement, located at 3600 Lyons Rd, Austin, Texas 78702. On view for the following two Saturdays (4/6 and 4/13) from 12-4pm.
