From Monterrey, Mexico, Ernesto Walker will be in residence as part of the Unlisted Projects program at the Museum of Human Achievement throughout the month of April. During Fusebox he will open his studio to festival-goers.
Walker’s work is characterized by the exploration of chance and abstraction as a way to encode and visually translate the reality around us, looking for links between what is accidental and what becomes meaningful. His academic formation is in the field of humanities, with a degree in International Relations obtained in 2006. Until now he has had 13 solo exhibitions and participated in 49 group exhibits, including exhibits in London, Brussels, Luxembourg, Athens, Switzerland, Argentina, Mexico, Spain and the United States.
