MoHA’s November artists in residence, artist duo Matthias Böhler & Christian Orendt are opening their studio to give an insight into their past and their current artistic practice. Their elaborate large scale installation works make a crossover use of drawing, set design, model-making or performative techniques and involves narratives dealing with things like kangaroo spaceships, blood fountains and various kinds of ghost apparitions.
Alongside with the open studio there will be a new staging of their interactive performance Mehrung. Within this one-of-a-kind creative workshop, you will get the unique occasion to unleash your much-vaunted creative energy and to understand the unquestioned beauty of unbridled exponential growth at the same time.
