Wendy Yamilett (she/they) is a multidisciplinary figurative artist based in Austin, Tx. Their art focuses on the human experience - focusing on ideas of gender, Latinx identity, nature, and mental health. While she often uses herself as a subject, she also includes others as representatives of these topics. Many of her references stem from personal experiences as a first-generation American and a person of Honduran descent, seeking to find a sense of place within American society. Their work intends to empower others and strengthen the connection we have with one another. | Wendy Yamilett (she/they) is a multidisciplinary figurative artist based in Austin, Tx.
