Future Traditions is a multimedia festival that explores digital technology as a collaborative tool for extending and facilitating traditional Latin American music and dance in the 21st century. The festival is a platform for creating new discourse around the intersections between technology, experimentation, and tradition while working toward cultural equity.

Future Traditions Festival culminates in an evening of discussions and performances at the Museum of Human Achievement on Friday May 3. Attendees can expect to indulge in curated collaborations between Austin-based traditional music and dance groups, as well as a range of multimedia artists.
