Membership

Becoming a Sustaining Member

Want to make a one-time donation or become a sustaining member, here is the spot to be! All donations go to support and sustain the organization.

Donations

Want to make a one time donation? We rely on individual support as well as sponsorships and company matching policies. Below are a variety of ways to support.

Volunteering

Sign up to join the volunteer list and see upcoming volunteer opportunities here. This is the main volunteer list at MoHA but more specific volunteer opportunities are below.

UP Buddy Program

We’re always seeking buddies to help welcome in visiting artists. This form is for anyone local to Austin who seeks to join our buddy program.

Fiscal Sponsorship

We help many artists and informal organizations apply to grants funding. If you’re interested in this the best way to find out more is by signing up for office hours (linked here) with Zac. The form for fiscal sponsorship is linked here

Mallunteer

If you're not familiar with The Mall, it's a hotgorgeousbeautiful ~Bubblegum Memphis~ art-as-retail-as-art space inside a converted 1950s trailer in front of MoHA. We are volunteer-run and one of our primary goals is to help artists make a living, which as you may know, IS HARD WORK. So we need your help. We're seeking volunteers to commit to about one (1) 7-hour shift per month typically. A typical day at The Mall is relatively chill, so between customers you can spend your time exploring the goods, reading, or catching up on emails or tv shows, even!

We welcome cultural producers of all stripes: social activists, academics, and anyone who is creative, adventurous and willing to come to Austin and allow experiences here to influence new bodies of work. We are especially keen on artists who have a socially collaborative and/or new media art practice.

Welcome to my Homepage

Welcome to my Homepage is an international online residency program that offers artists a no-cost, low-stakes opportunity to expand their practice in new directions, explore the web as a site for creative production, and reach a new audience. For visitors, the Homepage is an accessible art venue that aims to promote net.art appreciation and conversation both online and IRL. Welcome to my Homepage was founded in 2014 and has since hosted over 65 artists from across the world wide web.

Station to Stations

An international artist residency and gallery housed within the destination sign of a former San Antonio city bus that now serves as a mobile performance platform. As the bus travels from place to place, or station to stations, the destination sign features text-based ideas from around the globe, transforming the bus into a moving network.

The Mall

The Mall is a small art gallery in Austin, TX. A majority of our gallery features works from Austin artists, and is exemplary of the unique culture of Austin. Beyond a space for exhibition, The Mall also actively facilitates education and community via workshops and the creation of new art via commissions of editioned work. Our mission is to help artists make a living, with a particular interest in uplifting women artists, queer artists, and artists of color whose voices are more often marginalized, and to create an exciting and beautiful platform and context for their work.

Apply to Vend at The Mall

This application form is for any artist seeking to vend goods at The Mall.
