The 2024 Austin Live Music Fund Grant Application is now OPEN. The deadline is June 18th and we would like to get together and offer some assistance in understanding and working through the grant with you.
This grant supports Professional Musicians and Independent Promoters with $15,000 or $30,000 grant awards and Live Music Venues with $30,000 or $60,000 grant awards.
Grant applications can be intimidating, challenging and mysterious, but they become easier with support and community and sometimes even a few snacks. We'd like to provide an environment where you feel comfortable asking questions and getting some help applying for money that you can use.
These hangouts are free. We'll break up the application into parts and have people around to help demystify what the application is asking for. You can come to one or all of them. Space is limited so please RSVP! We’ve found it easier and more fun doing things together with community support, and sharing work and resources is cool.
The schedule is as follows: Thursday 6/6 6-9pm Wednesday 6/12 6-9pm Saturday 6/15 11-2pm
An Important note: We will do our best to help you during the workshop times available, but MoHA will have limited availability to support on the day before or on the 18th/the due date.
The content of each session will be dependent on interest and what is needed in the group. Please come with your questions and frustrations, we will do our best to answer and allay. If you have access to a laptop or computer, please bring it. We also have a handful of computers available at MoHA as well as internet access.
MoHA is located at: 3600 Lyons Rd. On the gravel parking lot side of the Canopy complex. Look for the bus!
