w/ Thor & Friends, Rick & Tara Reed, Alex Keller & Sean O'Neill Lawrence English is a composer, media artist and curator based in Australia. He runs the continually intriguing experimental label Room 40, in addition to the A Guide to Saints cassette imprint. For his Texas debut he’ll be conducting a field recording diffusion of his latest release Viento — comprised of a pair of wind recordings from Patagonia and Antarctica. English will be joined by a cast of local experimentalists; sets include Thor & Friends, Rick & Tara Reed and steady-state mechanical recordings from Alex Heller & Sean O’Neill.
