09.05.17 | Shred for Bread by Kevin Curtin (Austin Chronicle) |
Sixteen shredders enter, one shredder leaves. In the first annual Texas Shred-Off guitarists will battle head-to-head in a series of tournament style challenges to determine who will reign supreme as the greatest shredder across Texas.
The champion will be anointed by a brutal panel of 5 judges including Kyle Shutt (The Sword), Laurie Gallardo (KUTX), Rusty Cooley (Day of Reckoning), Chuck Loesch (NO CONTROL Radio), and Mike Wiebe (Riverboat Gamblers).
Join us for a night of electric mayhem, sure to crucify.
Featuring
- Hosted by Thor Harris & Erica Nix.
- Backing band Shred Bed provided by members of The Sword. :Also featuring on the inside stage: Big Balls TX (AC/DC) and Think Lizzy (Thin Lizzy).
