Inspired by old user manuals and the mechanical experience of performers Jose Lerma and Matt Spain, Landscape Mechanical is a meditation on the art of fixing an engine and the vast terrain of America. Using sound, movement, and machines, this new play investigates what it means to fix the vehicles that traverse this country, but never go anywhere yourself.
