As you walk through the door you'll grab a full episode of Seinfeld script with your favorite characters parts highlighted. Then you'll join your group of Georges or Kramers or Newmans on the floor. Only one Jerry will exist and we will do a group reading of Seinfeld complete with slap bass and projections of Seinfeld sets.

Beginning March 27th, The Museum of Human Achievement will be hosting a series of adventures curated by Bradford Kinney into the wonderland of cartoon psychedelia. Where cameras inevitably tie creators somewhat to ""reality,"" the media of animation allowed these creators to gloriously cut the umbilical cord of actuality, crafting their dream world from stem to stern, and peopling them with charmingly beautiful impossibilities.
After that Chester Endersby Gwazda will play a set of colorful psychedelic pop with lights and smart phone app interaction that turns everyones phone into a light device. Chester first made his name as an underground producer, recording and mixing breakthrough records, at times for nothing but food and lodging, for some of the most interesting groups in the American indie scene -- acts like Dan Deacon, Future Islands, Cloud Nothings, Ed Schrader's Music Beat, Air Waves, etc. -- to the point where b magazine saw fit to dub him Baltimore's ""best producer of indie-rock."" He has also long been a sought-after live player, performing synth and bass duties for the Dan Deacon Ensemble and Nuclear Power Pants.

Our first night will focus on the early history of psychedelic animation, starting in the 1930s with the bizarre jazz and dance-fueled creations of Max Fleischer, and culminating in a viewing of Rene LaLoux's 1973 masterpiece, The Fantastic Planet (complete with its psych-rock opus of a soundtrack booming from our house PA). Psychedelic toy store, demonstrations and optional free play time will be provided by Terra Toys and facilitated by Billy Zimmerman. Movie-going snacks and refreshments will be available.
We close the night with open karaoke with songs from Aladdin, The LIttle Mermaid and The Lion King.
