Mallunteering is volunteering at The Mall, a small art and retail trailer which helps artists make a living through sales, workshops and commissions. Community members who are interested in retail, fashion or art can commit a portion of their time to learn about running a small shop and help support artists in Austin Texas.
A typical day at the mall involves welcoming guests, talking about art, a little bit of cleaning and checking out customers. Between customers you can spend your time exploring the goods, reading, or catching up on emails or tv shows, even!
