What happens when we turn toward our pain? Abundant Masculinities invites men and transmasculine folks to gather over snacks and drinks and together examine patriarchy’s influence over us and our world. The blueprint for masculinity is deeply flawed: men are expected to be exclusively strong and unemotional, dominating and powerful, which only alienates us from ourselves and makes it harder to be grounded and present friends, partners, and community members.
In this four-week community-building series, we’ll get together and through reflective group activities, journaling, art making, and storytelling, explore topics like manhood, parenthood, and brotherhood while expanding our vision of a mindful masculinity.
Attendees should plan to attend all 4 sessions to experience the series from start to finish. Tickets are sold at sliding scale for accessibility. 1 ticket is valid for all 4 sessions.
