This is the first year I have felt cold in my bones. I finally really understand what that phrase means! I tell you, the stretching and the hot water (yeah, I drink hot water) in the mornings helps a lot. I tend to dream of ramen and my mom's Goulash and it puts a smile on my face. I love it when a thought makes you smile involuntarily. I hope you are keeping close to you, a memory or thought that makes you smile and perhaps, trying my hot water thing. | This is the first year I have felt cold in my bones. Hi Friends,
This is the first year I have felt cold in my bones.
Dreaming up our next Potluck puts a smile on my face, our own Jay RG is brewing up some drinks for us to share. Did you know they did that? You can come talk to them about the process and taste the concoctions on Friday, February 24th from 6pm - 9pm here at MoHA during our Monthly Potluck.
Here's what Jay says about the Brews:
Brew Blurb - Hi! My name is Jay Roff-Garcia I am the Digital Art Coordinator at MoHA, I also brew beer and ferment things! I am currently workshopping a Grape Ale, a Grape forward Pale Ale modeled off a traditional Italian recipe. In addition I'll bring a low-alcohol Shandy, a delightful lemon-lime infused beer to refresh the senses. Come imbibe some tasty concoctions.
Thank you for taking such care Jay.
Do you want to share a thing? Bring the thing you bring to your friend when they are feeling under the weather. If you wanna be extra adventurous, pair it with a book or two you don't mind parting with and we'll have a book exchange. Oooooh, Jay's home crafted beer, feel good food and books. I'm smiling just thinking about it.
In the meantime, Send me your stay warm tricks. I'm looking forward to seeing and sharing with you this month
