This embroidery workshop will focus on the long and short stitch method and its relationship with pixel art. We will cover the basic materials needed to approach embroidery in a more delicate and detailed manner. Participants will also be shown methods of creating a hand made embroidery patch.
Tsz Kam is a local maker here in Austin, they obtained their BFA from University of Texas at Austin in 2015. Kam is part of the collective duo, Big Chicken & Baby Bird. When they aren’t painting, they are usually stitching.
