|Event description=The Lady Friends series of concerts began at Church of the Friendly Ghost's original Pedernales Street location, in East Austin, as a way to spotlight female experimental musicians. This popular series was put on hold during Church of the Friendly Ghost's transition to it's current home base at Salvage Vanguard Theater. Lady Friends celebrates women on the leading-edge of contemporary musical expressions and provides performers and audience a space to connect and exchange ideas. To rekindle this series and make up for lost time, Daughter of Lady Friends Experimental Music Salon will be a two-day event featuring many exciting local, regional, and national female experimental musicians and artists.
